20cm Maori Female Doll in full Kapa Haka costume
This pretty 20cm Maori Wahine ( Female) Doll is dressed up all ready for a Kapa Haka (song and dance) performance.
On her head is a traditional taniko weaving headband, and her chin, a traditional Maori woman's moko ( tattoo). Around her neck is a replica Maori greenstone tiki, a fertility symbol.
Around her shoulders is a traditional feathered cloak and underneath, the bodice of her dress resembles the traditional taniko woven bodice. She wears the traditional piupiu skirt, from which hangs her long pois, ready to swing.
