This fabulous New Zealand adaptation of the classic "Twelve Days of Christmas" song is a must have book for every Kiwi home, and anyone fascinated with Kiwi culture.

The words for each of the Twelve Days of Christmas are printed on separate pages, with the facing page beautifully illustrated.

The song starts off: "On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me/ a pukeko in a ponga tree" and so it goes on.

On the last pages is the sheet music to the song, so you can play it on the piano, guitar, etc.

The song is great fun for children to perform to, as witnessed some years ago when my triplets were at preschool!
