1. Am I eligible to
become a Shopenzed.com affiliate?
If you own a website, blog, or forum, you are
encouraged to submit an application. You may also apply if you send out a
regular email newsletter or ezine.
We review all applications and have
the right to review and revoke any affiliation at any time. We may
refuse any site that contains or promotes objectionable material such as
violence, discrimination, sexually explicit material, illegal activities, or
which violates intellectual property rights and laws, or contains libelous,
defamatory or disparaging material. Please do not apply if you are
involved in spamming or own a website that is essentially advertising
only.
2. Will it cost me
anything to join?
No, not a cent. There are no
fees, and we provide the banners, buttons, etc. You can cancel at any
time.
3. Are you only
interested in New Zealand websites?
No, not at all, you can be
based anywhere in the world and be of any nationality. We will pay
you through your PayPal account if you live overseas, so make sure you
have an account with PayPal. If you live in New Zealand, payment will
be by cheque, internet banking, or PayPal. Since purchases can be
made in a variety of currencies, commissions will be calculated in NZ dollars on
the date of purchase, and paid in NZ dollars. At PayPal you can then
convert to your own currency when you withdraw the funds.
4. How do I get
started?
Read through the terms
and conditions (Affiliate Agreement) page , and then click here
to fill out your application. If you
agree to the terms and conditions, you will also need to submit your acceptance
of that
Agreement. We will process
your application, normally within 48 hours. If successful, we'll be in touch to help you
get started, and we look forward to a long and fruitful
relationship.
5. Can I link from more
than one page of my website?
Yes you can. You may,
for instance, have an information page about Greenstone, and want to link
directly to our Greenstone Jewelry page. Or you may want to put several of our
product photos on a page or pages, linking each photo to its applicable page at
our store. And you probably will want a link from your homepage
as well. You can also link from your ezine ( email newsletter) and
emails.
6. Do you have sales
targets that I have to reach?
No, you receive the 10% commission
regardless of what is purchased. We are always looking to improve what we
offer, though, and for those who perform particularly well, we'll be looking
at additional rewards.
7. So I earn 10% of
what?
You earn 10% of the order total,
excluding freight, of third parties ( customers) who click through from your
website and make a purchase of goods from Shopenzed.com. In addition, if
that customer leaves our cookie in place on their computer, any further
purchases they make for a year after they first click through to the store will
earn you commission.
8. Can I put my
commission towards the purchase of products from the
website?
Yes you can. So instead of
receiving dollars, you can use the dollars to purchase product from
Shopenzed.com.
9. How often do I get
paid?
That will depend on how much you
earn, but for most referrers it will be monthly.
If your commission earnings exceed NZ$30 in any given month, you will be paid approximately 30
days after the end of that month. If your monthly earnings are less than NZ$30,
commission will be held until you have accrued NZ$30.
All sales
commissions are held for 30 days to allow for any cancellations or
returns. As we provide a generous 365-day money back guarantee, there may
also be times when a return may affect your commission balance months after the
sale. Do not worry about this - the Shopenzed.com customer
satisfaction level is very high and returns are rare. If there is no
commission income available to cover a return, you will be billed for the return
of that commission. Payment is due within 30 days of billing.
10. Which pages should I
link to at Shopenzed.com?
That depends on what your website
focuses on. For instance, if your website is all about weddings, you might
link to our Special Occasions - Wedding Gifts section. Or to a
particular gift item related to weddings. If you customers are
overseas tourists interested in New Zealand, a link to our homepage will show
them the huge range of products we have on offer. If you have an
informational website about the Maori people, a link to our Maori
products category is a good idea.
