This new bone pendant carving by Maori artist David Taylor is called Hei Toki (adze).  This adze design is popular, and made even more stunning by the kowhaiwhai pattern down the centre of the toki. 

Take note of the beautiful lashing at the top of the pendant, which sets the bone pendant off appropriately.

This Hei Toki pendant measures approximately 80mm x 35mm (3 1/8" x 1 3/8") and comes to you on a waxed nylon cord, for lasting safety.  I recommend you look after this pendant with great care, since David's pendants are works of wearable art.
