This photo is of a magnificent native pohutukawa tree, set amongst two traditional Kiwi baches. It is one of my favorites.
If you are unfamiliar with the word bach, it's the name for a traditional New Zealand beach home. Baches were often made from leftover building materials, and were modest buildings to be used to house the family during summertime. Nowadays most of the old baches have been replaced by palatial homes that look more suited to the city. But that's life!
The framed photo print measures 9" x 11" and is ready to hang ( or it has a strut so you can stand it on a shelf).
