This genuine Maori Bone Toki (Adze) Pendant is carved by Joe, our South Island Maori carver.
Beautifully lashed in the traditional manner, and with a plaited cord, the Toki Pendant is further enhanced with beautiful Maori carving diagonally across the shaft.
The Bone Toki Pendant measures approximately 2 1/4" (5.5cm) long.
The Toki (adze) was an important Maori implement. In bone or greenstone, it was traditionally worn by Maori elders, as it represented power, wisdom and authority.
