This beautifully carved and lashed Maori Bone Hook Necklace is made in the South Island of New Zealand.  Styled on the Maori Bone Hook Pendant worn by Pierce Brosnan in the movie "After the Sunset", its added carving makes it a finer example than the original.

We call it the Brosnan Hook Necklace, and it measures approximately 1 5/8" (4cm) long.  Note the fabulous binding at the top of the hook, and the hand-plaited cord.

The Maori Hook design ( hei matau) also carries a spiritual message, one of good health, prosperity, and safe travel over water.  What more could you want?!
