Greenstone Maori Tiki Pendant
The New Zealand Maori Tiki Greenstone Pendant is a symbol of fertility and goodwill. The Tiki is probably the most well-known symbol in Maoridom, although Greenstone carvers are producing other wonderful designs as Greenstone goes thru a resurgence of popularity in New Zealand.
This Greenstone Tiki Pendant carving is made from greenstone (pounamu) hand-selected by the carvers, from the west coast of the South Island. Guaranteed to be NZ Greenstone ( beware of imitations).
The small Tiki pendant measures 1 5/8" (4cm) long, and the large Tiki is 3" (7.5cm) long. It comes to you on a traditional waxed cord, and on a descriptive card.
