This New Zealand Xmas Decoration features the beautiful but naughty native Kea bird.  Note all the sequins used to decorate the Christmas ornament.

Keas are found on the South Island, particularly in alpine and forested areas.  They are intelligent and inquisitive native birds, and will hang out around areas frequented by humans, looking for food scraps.  Kea will rip apart the rubber around car door and window frames, will get into rubbish bins, and will fly off with small objects.
