This large Maori Bone Hook Pendant is a beautiful piece of carving, especially the intricate carving down the outside edge.  I love the way the top curls in like a Koru, and the notch in the lower edge.

Maori carvings all carry spiritual meanings as well.  In the case of the Hook ( Hei matau), that design signifies good luck, good health, and prosperity.  It is also used as a good luck charm for safe travel over water.

This Maori hook pendant measures approximately 2 1/4" long.  It sits on a traditional black cord, and closure is with a bone toggle.
