This lovely Maori Doll is dressed in the likeness of traditional New Zealand Maori costume.  The mother carries her baby on her back, within her korowai cloak.  Her head is adorned with a Maori headband, which matches the bodice of her woven bodice.  Below the bodice is her piupiu skirt, traditionally made from flax.  Around her neck is a tiki, traditionally made from greenstone.

This lovely doll is freestanding and measures approximately 7" tall.  She comes in a presentation box, which includes a map of New Zealand and more details about her costume.
