This large and intricately detailed Maori canoe, or Waka, charm would make a great addition to any charm collection, but especially the person interested in the native people of New Zealand, Aotearoa, " Land of the Long White Cloud".

The Maori came to New Zealand in these huge carved canoes, and there are many fine examples still to be seen ( and still being made).

The sterling silver charm measures approximately 1 3/4" long and 1/8" wide.  Its design has been taken from the waka stored in our museums.
