Merino Wool PossumSilk is a fabulous new natural fiber from New Zealand. It is a mix of 50% Merino Lambswool, 40% Possum Fur, and 10% Silk. That mix gives you warmth, softness, strength and light weight - the perfect combination! This mix has no bulk, so it is like wearing a second skin. For people who are incapacitated, it has an additional bonus of not putting extra pressure on areas that could cause problems. Particularly good for arthritis sufferers, for keeping joints warm without feeling constricted.
The shawl is Merino Wool Possum Silk with Possum Fur trim. It is very generously sized - 81" long and 23" wide, with a 3" band of fur.
