The New Zealand Bird Calls Book and CD would now be our favourite NZ bird calls book, since it is the most comprehensive.  The CD contains 60 New Zealand bird calls.  Each one is a high quality recording, an absolute pleasure to listen to.  Before each call, the bird is named, so if you want, you can quickly flick to its page in the book.
