New Zealand Maori Three Kings Christmas Decorations (NZ02) -
Current Browse Location: Home : All Items : New Zealand Christmas Decorations > The 2007 addition to our Christmas Tree Decorations is the set of Three Kings, with a subtle New Zealand Maori theme. The Three Kings, also called the Magi or Three Wise Men, brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the young Jesus. In this New Zealand rendition the Three Kings bring traditional Maori spiritual gifts. The Red Paua King brings the gift of a Koru, which is a spiritual gift meaning new beginnings, personal growth and harmony. Korus adorn the edges of his robes and his crown. The Paua King brings the gift of a Pikorua, a twisted infinity loop with no beginning or end. The Pikorua signifies everlasting friendship and love. The Paua King's robe is of natural New Zealand Paua shell, with the blue and purple trimming his robes mirroring the wonderful shades to be found in Paua Shell. The Infinity loops adorn the edges of his robes and his crown. The Blue Paua King carries the gift of a Hei Matau, a Maori fish hook symbol. It's spiritual meaning is one of good luck, prosperity, and safe travel over water. These gorgeous chrome and Paua shell Christmas decorations are proudly made in New Zealand. Each Xmas decoration measures 2 1/2" long and comes with a hang cord. Purchase separately or as a set.
