New Zealand Maori Tiki Charm
This beautifully crafted Sterling Silver Maori Tiki Charm is proudly made in New Zealand.
The tiki is a symbol of the Maori fertility god. This is a similar design to that seen in Maori carvings. It is often purchased by women trying to fall pregnant, and we have had some success stories over the years. But it is also the most popular Maori decoration, worn by both men and women.
The tiki charm measures approximately 5/8" x 1/4" (1.5cm x 0.5cm) and is plain on the back.
The sterling silver tiki charm is a wonderful symbol of the Maori culture, and interesting to collect and compare with Tikis from other South Pacific nations.
