We're pleased to be able to offer you good quality Paua Shells, polished inside to show up all the wonderful irridescent colours, and left natural on the outside.  The outside of the Paua Shell is cleaned and sealed with resin.

These lovely Paua shells, with their shades of blue, pink, purple and green, make great gifts.  They could be wedding favours, a business card holder for your desk, a jewellery container for your dressing table.

Each half polished Paua Shell measures approximately 5" x 3 1/2" (12.5cm x 9cm).

The New Zealand Paua ( abalone) is a marine mollusc that clings to the undersides of coastal rocks.   Paua is farmed for its meat and its beautiful shell.
