NZ Post Christmas 2016 International Shipping Dates
(and why you shouldn't follow them)
Following are the NZ Post Christmas sending dates (deadlines) for 2016.
Australia: 7 December
South Pacific, Asia, North America, UK and Europe: 2 December
Rest of world: 30 November
International (Economy) Courier:
Australia: 12 December
South Pacific, Asia, North America, UK and Europe: 9 December
Rest of world: 5 December
International Express Courier:
Australia: 14 December
South Pacific, Asia, North America, UK and Europe: 12 December
Rest of world: 9 December
And now, REALITY. If you are shipping gifts overseas for Christmas, we recommend you ship them by 25 November at the latest.
And if you want to ship something to South America for Christmas, you are probably too late, but might get it there if you ship by 11 November.
Even the International Economy Courier dates are wrong, and we say that because we have 15 years of experience. Again, get those parcels shipped by 25 November.
You should be OK with the International Express deadlines, and you may even be able to ship a little later. But do not bother in the last week before Christmas.
Remember that we can ship your purchase for you. So if you order gifts from us and want them shipped overseas, just enter the receiver's address in the Shipping Address. We are happy to wrap separate gifts and attach a gift card to each, so you can send gifts to a whole family in one parcel. And the gift wrapping and gift card are free. If you forget to put the details in the order, just send us the details in an email after you have placed your order.
If you are in New Zealand and have a Flybuys card, remember to enter your Flybuys card number at Checkout, and you will be rewarded for your generosity with Flybuys Points!
