This Maori Hook Pendant consists of New Zealand Paua Shell inserted into a shiny metal Fish Hook (hei matau), hanging from a traditional black cord with bead trim.
The Paua Shell is encased in resin, which protects it and brings out all its beautiful natural colours.
The Hook design carries a spiritual message. The Hook signifies abundance, strength and determination, and is believed to bring peace, prosperity and good health. The hook is a good luck charm for catching positive energy, and for safe travel over water.
