This Maori Koru Pendant consists of New Zealand Paua Shell inserted into a shiny metal Koru, hanging from a traditional black cord with bead trim.

The Paua Shell is encased with resin, which protects it and brings out all its beautiful natural colours.

The Koru design carries a spiritual message.  The Koru represents the unfurling native fern frond.  It is believed to symbolise new beginnings, peace, tranquility, personal growth, and harmony.

The Koru pendant measures 1" (2.5cm) in diameter and hangs from a 17" (43cm) cord.
