We ship to all countries in the world. If an order is urgent you are encouraged to email us before you order, advising the date it is needed by. We will contact you back to tell you whether or not we expect to be able to get it there by that date. We will give you our honest opinion but will not take responsibility for orders not arriving by required dates.
International Air Post
Orders to destinations outside New Zealand are shipped by priority International Air Post, which we find very reliable. The average delivery time is 4 - 10 working days, depending on destination. For instance, it takes about 7 days for a shipment to reach Australia, 7-10 days to the UK, 10 days to reach the middle and eastern states of the USA, and 14 days to Canada. Please allow approximately 15 working days if you live in European nations, and up to 6 weeks for South American destinations. And please remember, once your parcel leaves our hands, we are not responsible for shipping times, which are beyond our control.
NB: Postal shipping times extend out at Christmastime so we recommend ordering Christmas gifts by the end of November, or choosing a Courier option if ordering during December. Because shipping times are beyond our control, we take no responsibility for shipping times to any country.
This service from NZ Post, for airmail parcels to the UK, USA and Australia, is for weights up to 2kg. Your parcel is scanned when it leaves New Zealand, when it arrives overseas, and when it is delivered.
International Express Courier
If you want the security of Track and Trace and a speedy delivery, the International Express Courier option is for you. Targeted delivery time is 3-5 working days for most locations. Delivery not available to Post Office boxes, and a card will be left to pick up from DHL if you are not home when they call. The international carrier is DHL (or TNT in the case of taiaha).
International Economy Courier
Targeted delivery time is 2-6 working days, it's a door-to-door service, and is available to the following locations: Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, USA, Ireland, and UK. Delivery CAN be to a post office box, and a parcel can be left at the doorstep. The international carrier is DHL.
Insurance is provided FREE on parcels up to the value of US$100. Above that level, insurance is only available through using the Economy Courier or Express Courier shipping options .
CUSTOMS/ CLEARANCE CHARGES
You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied to the purchaser or recipient once the package reaches the destination. From experience, this is particularly so in Canada and Europe. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict which customers or shipments will be subject to the charges. We therefore accept no responsibility for any duties or taxes charged and we will not alter our documentation in order to defraud these agencies.
