This gorgeous New Zealand Pohutukawa Angel is part of our Christmas Ornament collection, and one of my favourite pieces too.

Here in New Zealand, Christmas comes in the middle of summer, so a Pohutukawa Angel is soooo appropriate!  There's nothing quite like our native Christmas tree, with its beautiful big red blooms at Christmastime.

The Pohutukawa Angel is approximately 6 1/2" (16cm) long, complete with halo.  She has green wings decorated with sparkly gold veins, a gold cape, pohutukawa flower at her waist, and a gorgeous sparkly pohutukawa flower skirt decorated with gold beads.   Truly beautiful, just like the flower itself.
