There's something soothing about watching these Revolving World Globes slowly turning.  Quite fascinating to watch, and of course the globes are hugely educational. 

There are two different globes.  Both the same size, but a little different in appearance.  Width - approximately 12.2cm (just under 5").

Globe 1 (Topographic) - shown to the left in the photo.  It shows nations, cities, etc as well as ocean currents and geography (showing brown for desert, white for arctic regions, etc).

Globe 2 (Nations) - shows nations in different colours to make them stand out better.

The Globe is very good to have around the home, whether it is revolving or not.  And it only takes 1 x AA battery to run (battery not included). Simply pull the two halves of the globe apart to insert the battery.  You can even make a game out of putting the two halves back together again....get your kids to find where the two halves match up.
